Top players: Darvish, Buchholz lead 2013 season list

Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish leads all players in Box-Toppers points about a month into the 2013 season.​

Darvish, who earned 2.0 Box-Toppers points each of the three times he was named Player of the Day, ​has 6.0 points for the season.

Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz ranks second with 5.4 points.​

Pitcher Matt Harvey of the Mets leads among all National League players with 5.0 points.​

Miguel Cabrera of the Tigers leads among American League batters with 4.2 points.  Bryce Harper of the Nationals leads among NL batters with 3.2 points.​

Individual player standings were last posted on Box-Toppers on April 12, when Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw led all players with 3.0 points. Kershaw, who still has 3.0 points, has slipped to eighth place among NL pitchers.​
