The Boston Red Sox have risen to the top spot in Box-Toppers team power rankings after being ranked third last week.
Red Sox players have accumulated the most Box-Toppers points for the season (24.6), followed by the St. Louis Cardinals (22.9). The Cards were also ranked second last week.
The Red Sox also have the best win-loss record in baseball at 20-8. The Cardinals are in a three-way tie for the best record in the National League. The Cards, the Atlanta Braves and the Colorado Rockies are all 17-11.
The Texas Rangers, last week's top team, fell to third place in Box-Toppers team rankings.
The Red Sox are led by overall Box-Toppers points leader and starting pitcher Clay Buchholz, who has 7.1. Eleven different Red Sox have been named Player of the Game and have earned Box-Toppers points this season.
The Cardinals are led by pitchers Lance Lynn (5.7) and Adam Wainwright (4.0).
