Castillo struck out nine over seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits and one walk, in the 7-0 win over the Rockies.

Castillo earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, his first points of the season, and ranks 38th among all players. Castillo earned 16.1 Box-Toppers points in 2023, fifth among American League pitchers.

National League Player of the Day is Phillies pitcher Zack Wheeler.
