Kershaw pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits, one walk and striking out six, in the 1-0 win over the Cubs. The Dodgers have tied the best-of-seven series, 1-1.
Kershaw had 24.4 Box-Toppers points during the regular season, ranked second among all players. This was the second time this postseason he’s earned Player of the Game honors—he was Player of the Game Thursday in the NL Division Series Game 5 against the Nationals, when he picked up the save.
