NL Division Series Game 4, Cubs lead Nationals, 2-1

Nationals—Stephen Strasburg, 22.5 Box-Toppers points, fourth among all players, third among NL pitchers.

Cubs—Jake Arrieta, 6.7 Box-Toppers points, 110th among all players, 38th among NL pitchers.

Strasburg was named the Nationals starter for Game 4 mid-day Wednesday. Previously, the Nationals were going to start Tanner Roark (7.0 Box-Toppers points, 97th among all players, 31st among NL pitchers) but with the rainout Tuesday, Strasburg was available to start on full rest.

Strasburg ranks second among Nationals players in Box-Toppers points, trailing only Box-Toppers NL Player of the Year Max Scherzer (25.0 Box-Toppers points).

In the Game 1 series loss to the Cubs, Strasburg pitched well and had a Box-Toppers game score of +11.0, despite picking up the loss (7IP 3H 2R 0ER BB 10K L). Arrieta has yet to appear in the 2017 postseason.

The pitching matchup is a rematch of Game 2 last Friday that the Indians won 9-8 in 13 innings. Neither starter fared particularly well, but Kluber actually did far worse.
