Dodgers pitcher Julio Urias is Friday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.
Also Friday, Brewers pitcher Eric Lauer rises to second place in Box-Toppers season player rankings—first among National League pitchers—after earning Player of the Game honors.
Player of the Day—Urias struck out five over five scoreless innings, allowing two hits and no walks, in the 4-1 win over the Phillies.

American League Batter of the Day—Jackie Bradley Jr. of the Red Sox hit a three-run homer and went 1-for-1, scoring once and driving in three runs, in the 7-3 win over the Mariners.
Rankings—Brewers pitcher Eric Lauer rises from seventh to second place in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors Friday.
Lauer (7IP 5H 0R 0BB 5K W in the 7-0 win over the Nationals) earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point, giving him 6.7 for the season, trailing only Shohei Ohtani of the Angels, who leads all players with 8.0 points.
