Twins pitcher Joe Ryan is Tuesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Ryan struck out eight over seven scoreless and hitless innings, allowing two walks, in the 6-3 win over the Royals.

Ryan exited after 106 pitches with a no-hitter. Reliever Jovani Moran kept the no-hitter intact through the eighth inning, before giving up two hits in the ninth inning.

Ryan earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 12.7 for the season, 23rd among all players and 10th among American League pitchers.

National League Player of the Day—Padres pitcher Yu Darvish struck out seven over eight scoreless innings, allowing two hits and no walks, in the 2-0 win over the Mariners.

Darvish earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points for being NL Player of the Day, giving him 13.8 for the season, 15th among all players and eighth among NL pitchers.
