Twins pitcher Devin Smeltzer is Tuesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day, making his Major League debut.

Smeltzer struck out seven over six scoreless innings, allowing three hits and no walks, in the 5-3 win over the Brewers. Smeltzer did not earn the win, picking up a no-decision, because the game was in a scoreless tie when he exited.
