Guardians’ Cantillo tops players Monday, Sept. 9; Mets’ Megill tops NL players

Guardians pitcher Joey Cantillo is Monday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day, pitching a perfect game into the seventh inning and winning his first career Player of the Game honor.

Cantillo struck out 10 over seven innings, allowing one run, two hits and no walks, in the 5-3 win over the White Sox.
