Angels pitcher Touki Toussaint is Wednesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.
Toussaint struck out six over five scoreless innings, allowing two hits and two walks, in the 5-4, 12-inning win over the Athletics. Toussaint did not earn the win, picking up a no-decision, because the game was in a scoreless tie when he exited.

Bundy pitched a complete game, striking out 10 and allowing one run, four hits and no walks, in the 6-1 win over the Mariners.

Also Saturday, Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia ties Box-Toppers’ all-time record by earning at least 1.0 Box-Toppers point in 19 straight seasons after earning Player of the Game honors.
