Meanwhile, the Houston Astros maintain their lead in Box-Toppers rankings among American League teams for the eighth straight week.

Dodgers players have accumulated 79.0 Box-Toppers points so far this season, including 12.2 since the last team rankings report June 29, the most of any team. It is the second straight week the Dodgers have been the hottest team and the third straight week they have been the hottest NL team.
The Dodgers passed the Astros this past week to have baseball’s best winning percentage (.678 to .674) at the All-Star break.
The Dodgers are led by pitcher Clayton Kershaw (21.1 Box-Toppers points), who also leads all players in season player rankings. Top batter is Cody Bellinger (7.7), who leads NL batters in Box-Toppers points. Seventeen different Dodgers players have earned Box-Toppers Player of the Game honors so far this season.
The Astros lead AL teams for the eighth straight week. With 68.1 Box-Toppers points, including 6.0 in the past week, they fall from second to third place among all teams.
The Astros are led by pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. (9.4 Box-Toppers points), who ranks 10th among all players. Top batter is Carlos Correa (5.5 points), who ranks seventh among AL batters. Twenty-three different Astros players have earned Player of the Game honors so far this season.

- The New York Yankees fell from eighth to 11th with 54.5 points, earning 2.9 since the last team rankings report June 29.
- The Seattle Mariners fell from 10th to 12th with 52.4 points, earning 4.7 since the last team rankings report June 29.
The Miami Marlins made the biggest jump up Box-Toppers team rankings, rising five spots from 22nd place last week to 17th place this week. The Marlins, with 48.1 Box-Toppers points on the season, earned 6.5 points since the last team rankings report June 29.
The Chicago Cubs had the biggest drop down Box-Toppers team rankings, falling five spots from 14th to 19th. The Cubs, with 47.9 Box-Toppers points, earned 3.0 points since the last team rankings report June 29.
The Philadelphia Phillies remain the lowest-ranked team in Box-Toppers points for the eighth straight week with 34.6, earning 4.0 points in the past week.
Box-Toppers team rankings are normally posted weekly on Fridays during the season. But last Friday’s report was delayed until today to coincide with the All-Star break. And since regular season games don’t resume until Friday, July 14, the next rankings report is slated to be posted Friday, July 21.
