Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Brewers maintain their lead among National League teams and the Los Angeles Angels are the hottest team of the past week.

The Red Sox are led by pitcher Chris Sale with 20.1 Box-Toppers points, who ranks third in Box-Toppers season player rankings. Top batter is J.D. Martinez (11.5 points), who ranks first among American League batters. Twenty-three different Red Sox players have earned Player of the Game honors so far this season.
The Red Sox lead the second-place team, the New York Yankees, by 12.3 points. The Yankees have 122.3 points, picking up 4.0 points in the past week.
The Milwaukee Brewers lead NL teams in Box-Toppers team rankings for the second week, rising from fourth to third place overall with 118.4 Box-Toppers points, picking up 5.5 points in the past week. The Brewers have the second-best winning percentage among NL teams (.571) behind the Chicago Cubs (.582). The Cubs have 109.8 Box-Toppers points on the season, picking up 2.0 points in the past week, falling from sixth to eighth overall and third among NL teams, behind the Brewers and the Los Angeles Dodgers (in seventh overall with 110.8 points).

The Los Angeles Angels are the hottest team of the week, picking up 7.0 points from Sept. 6 to 13, most of any team. The Braves rise from 18th to 16th place in team rankings with 81.8 points. The Angels’ two-spot rise up team rankings is also the biggest jump of any team this week.
The San Francisco Giants fell three spots in team rankings this week, most of any team. The Giants fell from 16th to 19th place with 75.2 Box-Toppers points, picking up no points in the past week.
The Baltimore Orioles rank last in 30th place for the second straight week with 39.4 Box-Toppers points, picking up 1.0 point in the past week.
