Player of the Day—Buehler struck out 12 over six innings, allowing two runs (none earned), three hits and one walk, in the 5-2 win over the Rockies. Buehler did not earn the win, picking up a no-decision, because the game was tied, 2-2, when he exited.
Buehler earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 13.1 for the season, 21st among all players and sixth among National League pitchers.
