Also Monday, Marcell Ozuna of the Cardinals rises to lead National League batters in 2019 Box-Toppers points, passing previous leader Christian Yelich of the Brewers, after earning National League Batter of the Day honors.

Player of the Day—Ray struck out seven over six innings, allowing one run, one hit and four walks, in the 7-5 win over the Marlins. Ray did not earn the win, picking up a no-decision, because the Marlins took the lead after he exited.
