Both National League Division Series begin Saturday.
The San Diego Padres face the Los Angeles Dodgers in one best-of-five game series and the New York Mets face the Philadelphia Phillies in the other. The top two NL seeds, the Dodgers (first) and the Phillies (second) received byes from the first round of playoffs and face the winners of the best-of-three Wild Card series played this week.

Meanwhile, Box-Toppers points leader, Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw, failed to extend his lead in his start Thursday. He did not earn Box-Toppers points in his team’s loss to the Rockies, which opens the door for Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer to retake the lead in his start Friday.

Also Wednesday, Yankees pitcher Luis Severino rises to fifth place in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors. Plus, despite throwing a no-hitter for nine innings and having a Box-Toppers game score of +16.0, Dodgers pitcher Rich Hill did not earn Player of the Game honors Wednesday after giving up a walk-off, 10th-inning homer in the 1-0 loss to the Pirates.
