National League Player of the Day—Brandon Nimmo of the Mets hit a triple and two doubles, going 4-for-4 and scoring twice, in the 5-0 win over the Brewers.

Thursday was a bit of an unusual day on the schedule as only two games were played that included NL teams. And in both of those games, batters won Player of the Game honors.
