Cole has 10.0 Box-Toppers points to lead NL pitchers. He passed last week’s leader, Max Scherzer of the Nationals, who falls to second place among NL pitchers with 9.0 Box-Toppers points. Cole ranks second among all players.

Prince Fielder of the Rangers continues to lead American League batters in Box-Toppers points with 6.5. Fielder falls from ninth place among all players to 14th place.

Bryce Harper of the Nationals continues to lead NL batters with 6.5 Box-Toppers points. Harper falls from 10th place among all players to 15th place.

There are no batters among the top 10 overall players.

So far this season, 423 different players have earned Box-Toppers Player of the Game honors. There are 147 players who have more than 2.0 Box-Toppers points.

About Box-Toppers—Box-Toppers tracks who most helps their team win the most games. Using standard box score statistics, Box-Toppers uses a simple formula to determine a Player of the Game for each Major League Baseball game played. That player is the person who contributed most to his team’s win. In regular season games, players earn 1.0 Box-Toppers point for being named Player of the Game and can earn bonus points for being Player of the Day or top player or batter in their league for the day.
