Kershaw has 8.7 Box-Toppers points, picking up 1.7 points from last week. While he was in first last Friday, he actually lost his top ranking Saturday to Red Sox pitcher Chris Sale (8.4 Box-Toppers points) before regaining it Wednesday. National League batters—Bryce Harper of the Nationals remains the leader among NL batters with 6.0 Box-Toppers points, ahead of second-place player Travis Shaw of the Brewers (4.5). Harper ranks fifth among all players and is the only batter in Box-Toppers overall top 10 player rankings.
American League batters—Aaron Judge of the Yankees remains the leader among AL batters with 5.0 Box-Toppers points, ahead of second-place player Miguel Sano of the Twins (4.0). Judge ranks 16th among all players.
So far this season, 392 different players have earned Box-Toppers Player of the Game honors. There are 91 players who have more than 2.0 Box-Toppers points. There are 45 players who have made their Box-Toppers debut so far this season, the first time in their career they earned Player of the Game honors. Fourteen players debuted during the past week.
