Ray struck out nine over seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits and no walks, in the 4-0 win over the Brewers.

Debut—Padres pitcher Dinelson Lamet made his Box-Toppers debut Thursday, the first time in his career he earned Player of the Game honors.

Lamet (5IP 3H R 2BB 8K W in the 4-3 win over the Mets) was also making his Major League debut Thursday. He is the 3,808th player to debut in Box-Toppers since record keeping began in 1995.
