Player of the Day—Crawford homered and went 4-for-4, scoring twice and driving in four runs, in the 13-3 win over the Orioles.

Crawford earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, his first points of the season and ranks 276th among all players, 61st among American League batters.

National League Player of the Day—Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff struck out 12 over seven innings, allowing three runs, seven hits and one walk, in the 7-5 win over the Reds.

National League Batter of the Day—Will Smith of the Dodgers hit a walk-off, pinch-hit, three-run homer in the 6-3 win over the Rockies.

Verlander (7IP 4H 3R 2BB 9K W in the 9-4 win over the Yankees) earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point, giving him 14.8 for the season. He leads over second-place overall player, Brewers pitcher Josh Hader (13.7) and also leads AL pitchers, ahead of second-place Charlie Morton of the Rays (11.8).

Verlander has led Box-Toppers season player rankings since May 10. He last earned Player of the Game honors June 1, making this the longest he has gone without earning Player of the Game honors so far this season.
