National League Player of the Day—Cubs pitcher Yu Darvish struck out seven over six scoreless innings, allowing two hits and one walk, in the 6-3 win over the Pirates.

American League Batter of the Day—Kyle Tucker of the Astros doubled and went 3-for-5, scoring twice and driving in four runs, in the 9-6 win over the Angels.
