Kershaw led NL pitchers at the end of a season four straight years (2011-14), including leading all players 2011, 2013 and 2014.
Kyle Tucker of the Astros rises to lead AL batters with 5.0 Box-Toppers points, ahead of second-place Eloy Jimenez of the White Sox (4.5 points). Tucker passes last week’s AL batting leader, Luke Voit of the Yankees, who falls to third place with 4.5 points. Tucker ranks 13th among all players.
Jason Heyward of the Cubs maintains his lead among NL batters with 3.7 Box-Toppers points, picking up no points in the past week. Heyward ranks 32nd among all players.

About Box-Toppers—Box-Toppers tracks who most helps their team win the most games. Using standard box score statistics, Box-Toppers uses a simple formula to determine a Player of the Game for each Major League Baseball game played. That player is the person who contributed most to his team’s win. In regular season games, players earn 1.0 Box-Toppers point for being named Player of the Game and can earn bonus points for being Player of the Day or top player or batter in their league for the day.
