Braves pitcher Charlie Morton is Thursday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Morton struck out seven over 7 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing three hits and no walks, in the 4-0 win over the Cardinals.

Morton earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 6.0 for the season, 33rd among all players and 21st among National League pitchers.

American League Player of the Day—Indians pitcher Trevor Stephan struck out three over 1 2/3 innings of middle relief, allowing no runs, no hits and no walks, and picking up the win, in the 10-3 win over the Orioles.
