Lopez struck out seven over seven scoreless innings, allowing one hit and no walks, in the 11-1 win over the Cubs.

Notable—Twins pitcher Caleb Thielbar earned his first Box-Toppers Player of the Game honor in nearly eight years Saturday.
Thielbar (1IP 0H 0R 0BB K W in the 3-2 win over the Rangers) last earned Player of the Game honors Sept. 3, 2013, when he was also with the Twins. That was his Box-Toppers debut, his first career Player of the Game honor. He now has 2.0 career Box-Toppers points.
