Mets pitcher Max Scherzer is Saturday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.
Scherzer struck out 11 over seven scoreless innings, allowing four hits and no walks, in the 6-2 win over the Braves.
Scherzer earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 8.0 for the season, 38th among all players and 18th among National League pitchers.
