Reds pitcher Brady Singer is Monday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Also Monday, Tyler O'Neill of the Orioles became the first to win Box-Toppers Player of the Game honors for a second time in 2025. Other Player of the Game winners Monday include White Sox pitcher Martín Pérez, Carson Kelly of the Cubs and Andrés Giménez of the Blue Jays.

Player of the Day

Singer struck out eight over seven scoreless innings, allowing one hit and seven walks, in the 14-3 win over the Rangers.

Singer earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, his first points of the season and now ranks third among all players.

Singer is one of eight players with 2.0 Box-Toppers points in 2025. They are ranked based on their 2024 point totals and Singer has the third-most among the six—his 10.0 points in 2024 with the Royals ranked 27th among AL pitchers. Mariners pitcher Logan Gilbert, Player of the Day on Thursday, March 27, also with 2.0 points, ranks first. He earned 13.0 points in 2024.

American League Player of the Day is White Sox pitcher Martín Pérez.

White Sox pitcher Martín Pérez struck out nine over six scoreless and hitless innings, allowing three walks, in the 9-0 win over the Twins.

Pérez earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points for being AL Player of the Day, his first points of the season, and ranks 10th among all players.

Pérez had a +12.0 Box-Toppers game score Monday, the same as Singer. But Singer beat Pérez for overall Player of the Day honors on a tiebreaker with more innings pitched—seven vs. six.

National League Batter of the Day is Carson Kelly of the Cubs.

O’Neill (2B 4-4 2R BI in the 9-5 win over the Red Sox) was also Player of the Game Thursday, March 27, in the 12-2 win over the Blue Jays (HR 3-3 3R 3BI).

He earns 1.0 Box-Toppers point for each Player of the Game honor, giving him 2.0 for the season, one of eight players atop Box-Toppers season player rankings with 2.0 points, ranking seventh among them based on his 2024 point total—his 4.2 points with the Red Sox ranked 34th among AL batters.

Kyren Paris of the Angels made his Box-Toppers debut Monday with his first career Player of the Game honor.
