Astros pitcher Framber Valdez is Tuesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.
Meanwhile Tuesday, Sean Murphy of the Braves rises to first place among National League batters in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors.
Player of the Day—Valdez struck out 12 over eight innings, allowing one run, three hits and no walks, in the 3-1 win over the Angels.
