Angels pitcher Patrick Sandoval is Saturday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Sandoval struck out 13 over 8 2/3 innings, allowing one run, one hit and one walk, in the 2-1 win over the Twins.

Sandoval took a no-hitter into the ninth inning before giving up a hit with one out.
