Brewers pitcher Corbin Burnes is Friday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.
Burnes struck out seven over eight scoreless innings, allowing four hits and no walks, in the 1-0 win over the Marlins.
Burnes earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 15.4 for the season, 15th among all players and ninth among National League pitchers.
American League Player of the Day—Orioles pitcher Jordan Lyles struck out nine over seven innings, allowing one run, four hits and one walk, in the 2-1 win over the Yankees.
