Royals pitcher Brady Singer is Thursday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Singer struck out four over eight scoreless innings, allowing three hits and no walks, in the 9-2 win over the Mets.

Sal Frelick of the Brewers hit a three-run homer, doubled and went 2-for-3, scoring twice and driving in five runs, in the 14-1 win over the Pirates.
