Giants pitcher Blake Snell is Saturday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.
Meanwhile, Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal rises to second place in Box-Toppers season player rankings and first place among American League pitchers after earning Player of the Game honors. Also, Aaron Judge of the Yankees extends his lead among AL batters in player rankings after earning AL Batter of the Day honors.
Player of the Day
Snell struck out 15 over six scoreless innings, allowing two hits and two walks, in the 4-1 win over the Rockies. Snell did not earn the win, picking up a no-decision, because the Rockies tied the game after he exited.
Snell earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 5.0 for the season, 83rd among all players and 31st among National League pitchers.

Judge also now has the most 2024 Box-Toppers points among all batters, passing Brenton Doyle of the Rockies (8.7 points).
Judge becomes the 15th player this season to reach 10 Box-Toppers points. He is the first batter to reach that mark. It is his fourth season with 10 or more points and third in a row. His best season was 2022 with the Yankees when he had 13.2 points, first among AL batters. In 2023, he had 12.0 points with the Yankees, third among AL batters.

Harold Ramirez of the Nationals doubled and went 3-for-3, scoring twice and driving in three runs, in the 14-3 win over the Cardinals.
