National League Batter of the Day
Tommy Pham of the Cardinals hit a grand slam and went 1-for-2, scoring once and driving in four runs, in the 8-1 win over the Rangers.
This game marked Pham’s return to the Cardinals, his first Major League team from 2014 to 2018. Pham was traded from the White Sox to the Cardinals on Monday.
Pham has also now earned Box-Toppers points in 10 consecutive seasons with his first Player of the Game honor of 2024 Tuesday. Pham earned his first point in 2015 with the Cardinals and now has 22.5 career Box-Toppers points, 23rd among active NL outfielders.
