Woodruff struck out 10 over seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits and two walks, in the 3-0 win over the Nationals.

Woodruff earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 10.4 for the season, rising from fourth to third place among all players, behind only Rays pitcher Tyler Glasnow (10.7) and Yankees pitcher Gerrit Cole (10.7). Woodruff rises to first place among National League pitchers, passing previous leader Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers (8.4).

Greinke (8IP 6H R BB 4K W in the 7-4 win over the Padres) ranks fourth among all players in career Box-Toppers points since 1995, when player tracking began. He ranks second among active players in career points, behind Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw (243.6).
