Mariners pitcher Bryan Woo is Tuesday’s Box-Toppers Player of the Day.

Also Tuesday, Phillies pitcher Ranger Suarez regains the lead in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning National League Player of the Day honors. Plus, White Sox pitcher Garrett Crochet rises to 10th place in season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors.

Player of the Day

Woo struck out seven over six scoreless innings, allowing two hits and no walks, in the 6-3 win over the Yankees.

Woo earns 2.0 Box-Toppers points for being Player of the Day, giving him 4.0 for the season, 46th among all players and 21st among American League pitchers.

National League Player of the Day is Phillies pitcher Ranger Suarez.

National League Player of the Day

Phillies pitcher Ranger Suarez struck out 10 over seven innings, allowing one run, five hits and two walks, in the 5-2 win over the Rangers.

Suarez earns 1.7 Box-Toppers points for being NL Player of the Day, giving him 9.4 for the season, rising from fifth to first place in season player rankings, passing previous leader, Braves pitcher Chris Sale, who only took the lead Monday. Suarez also passes Sale for the lead among NL pitchers.

This is the second time this season Suarez has led Box-Toppers season player rankings. He also led from April 27 to May 5.

American League Batter of the Day

Bobby Witt Jr. of the Royals hit two home runs, including a three-run homer, in the 10-3 win over the Tigers. Witt also hit a sacrifice fly and went 3-for-4, scoring three times and driving in six runs.

Witt earns 1.5 Box-Toppers points for being AL Batter of the Day, giving him 4.2 for the season, rising to second among AL batters, behind Juan Soto of the Yankees (4.5).

American League Batter of the Day is Bobby Witt Jr. of the Royals.

National League Batter of the Day

There is no separate NL Batter of the Day for Tuesday because no NL batter won Player of the Game honors in the 14 games completed.
