The New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers each have seven players on the top 100 list, tied for the most of any team. The Yankees also lead Box-Toppers team rankings, the Dodgers rank second and the Brewers are sixth. All teams except for the Oakland Athletics have at least one player among the top 100. The Athletics are 30th and last among all teams in 2022 Box-Toppers team rankings.
Three teams are tied for the next-most players among the top 100 with six each—the Houston Astros, New York Mets and Seattle Mariners. The defending World Series champion Atlanta Braves have five players among the top 100, seventh-most among all teams.
The top 100 player list is led by Angels pitcher Shohei Ohtani with 17.0 Box-Toppers points. Marlins pitcher Sandy Alcantara, who leads National League players with 12.7 Box-Toppers points, ranks fifth overall.
