Trevor Story of the Red Sox is Box-Toppers Player of the Day in Friday’s spring training games.
Other Player of the Game winners Friday include Dodgers pitcher Justin Wrobleski, Bobby Witt Jr. of the Royals and Iván Herrera of the Cardinals.

Also Tuesday, Rangers pitcher Jacob deGrom rises to sixth place in Box-Toppers season player rankings after earning Player of the Game honors.

Thompson hit three home runs—including a grand slam and a three-run shot—in the 10-1 win over the Diamondbacks. Thompson went 3-for-4, scoring three times and driving in eight runs.
